JEE Advanced Result 2025: IIT Kanpur will likely release the JEE Advanced result 2025 in the second week of July 2025. How is JEE Advanced 2025 Result Prepared?
The JEE Advanced result 2025 is determined based on the candidates' scores in the exam and the JEE Advanced marking scheme. Here are the steps exam the authority takes to compute the scores of each candidate:

Subject-wise marks calculation: A candidate's score in a specific subject is the sum of marks obtained in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 of the same subject. As JEE Advanced comprises three subjects, Physics, Chemistry, and Maths, the marks of each of these subjects present their performance across both papers.

Aggregate marks calculation: The total marks for a candidate are the combined scores from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. This aggregate is derived by summing up the marks from both Paper 1 and Paper 2. The aggregate score shows candidates' performance in the JEE Advanced exam.
JEE Advanced 2025 Tie-Breaking Policy
In case two or more candidates score the same aggregate marks in the JEE Advanced exam, the following criteria will be applied to break the tie and determine their ranks:

Candidates with higher positive marks will be ranked higher.

If a tie persists, the candidate with higher marks in Mathematics will receive a higher rank.

If the tie still remains, the candidate with higher marks in Physics will be ranked higher.

If the tie continues, the candidates will be given the same rank.
