Dasa Rank: DASA is also known as Direct Admission For Students Abroad. DASA is a scheme started by the MEO (Ministry of Education) by the Government of India (GOI) for admission to several undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Meanwhile making the aspirants applicable for admission to National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), Schools of Planning and Architecture (SPAs), and other premier technical Institutions in India.
The scheme was initially and specifically launched to aid the admissions of Persons of Indian Origin living abroad (POIs), Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Children of Indian Workers in the Gulf countries (CIWG), and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI). DASA allows these aspirants to get enrolled in the top institutions of India in Engineering, Architecture, Planning, and Management.

DASA 2023 Eligibility criteria
DASA requires the aspirants to meet a few eligibility criteria which ensures that the aspirant are eligible and deserving for DASA eligibility. Hence, DASA aspirants are required to look for the following criteria to ensure that they are eligible to sit for DASA.

Age limit Dasa 2023
Candidates born after 1st October 1998, are applicable for DASA UG. The dates must be mentioned on any official document of the candidate approved by the Government such as birth certificate, 10th or 12th marksheet, etc.
However, there are no age restrictions for the candidates who want to apply for DASA PG.
Residence:
Persons of Indian Origin living abroad (POIs), Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Children of Indian Workers in the Gulf countries (CIWG), and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are applicable for both DASA UG and DASA PG.
Educational Qualification for Dasa 2023
For DASA UG, the candidates are required to complete 10+2 or equivalent examinations recognized by the Association of Indian Universities. Along with this, the candidates are also required to clear their 10+2 with math and physics compulsorily and have any one of chemistry, biology, computer science, or biotechnology.
For DASA PG, Candidates must have passed a 4or 5-year UG course in Engineering/ technology or equivalent in a relevant major for M.Tech. / M.Arch./ M.Plan./ M.Des./ MURP and a UG degree for MBA from a recognized University.

Qualifying Marks for Dasa 2023
For DASA, Candidate must have secured a minimum of 60% marks or 6.50 CGPA in the last qualifying examination.
For M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan./ M.Des.: Minimum 300 GRE Revised General Test Score ( Verbal + Quantitative) is required
For MBA: A minimum 480 GMAT test score is required

Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries (CIWG)/NRI have to clear JEE Main exam for admission through the DASA quota.

DASA: Application Form
DASA scheme aspirants who are eligible for the application can visit the official website of DASA to get access to the application form. DASA applicants are required to submit a fixed non-refundable amount along with a fees of 1st semester that will be refunded if the applicant fail to get any seats via DASA in any college/university.

DASA Rank List
The DASA rank list will also be posted the official website. Through the candidate login, candidates may access the DASA UG 2023 rank list by entering their JEE Main application number and passcode. On the basis of JEE Main rankings, NTA will create a merit list for DASA UG applicants. It should be emphasized that only applicants who completed their applications by the deadline will be taken into account for the DASA 2023 rank list.
DASA 2023: Seat allotment/ Counseling
The final seat distribution for DASA will be based on the merit list and the choices made by the applicants when filling out the application. Four rounds of DASA seat allocation, including a unique online round, will be carried out by the authorities. As no personal emails will be issued to the applicants inviting them to attend the seat allocation stage, candidates are urged to keep an eye on the official website.
