Accepted Exams for IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi BTech Admission 2025
Admission to IIT Delhi – Abu Dhabi’s B.Tech. programs will be based on candidates’ scores in two primary exams. These are:

JEE (Advanced) 2025
Indian nationals aspiring to secure admission at IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi must qualify for JEE (Advanced) 2025 and apply through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) portal. One-third of the total undergraduate seats will be allocated to JEE (Advanced) 2025 qualifiers.

Combined Admission Entrance Test (CAET) 2025
UAE candidates, foreign nationals, or Indian candidates who have completed their 5 years of schooling in UAE (class 8-12) are eligible to apply for the CAET exam 2025. IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi will offer nearly two-thirds of the total UG seats through CAET 2025.
CAET Exam for IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi BTech Admission 2025
The CAET 2025 exam will be conducted in two sessions. The first session is scheduled to take place on February 16, while CAET Session 2 will be conducted on April 13, 2025. CAET 2025 will be a 3-hour pen-and-paper test conducted in English. The CAET paper will include a total of 60 questions that will be equally distributed across the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics sections.
CAET 2025 will be conducted in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah in the UAE, as well as New Delhi in India. Additional test centres may be added for Session 2 based on previous years’ application trends.
