JEE Advanced 2025 Key Highlights
Provided below are the key highlights of the JEE Advanced 2025 exam:

Eligibility through JEE (Main) 2025: Candidates must rank among the top 250,000 in JEE (Main) 2025 to qualify for JEE (Advanced). Foreign nationals, including OCI/PIO (F) candidates, are exempt from JEE (Main) and can apply directly if they meet the 10+2 qualification criteria.

Minimum Marks for Admission: Candidates must secure at least 75% marks in their Class 12 exams to qualify for admission to IITs. However, for reserved category candidates, the minimum requirement is 65%.

Age Criteria: Applicants must be born on or after October 1, 2000, to attempt JEE Advanced 2025. SC, ST, and PwD candidates receive a five-year relaxation, allowing those born on or after October 1, 1995, to apply.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have appeared for the Class 12 (or equivalent) exam in 2024 or 2025 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Those who appeared before 2024 are not eligible.

Exclusion for Past IIT Admissions: Applicants previously admitted to any IIT, even if they discontinued or cancelled their admission, are not allowed to apply for JEE (Advanced) 2025.

Increased Application Fee for Foreign Centers: Applicants appearing at exam centres outside India will pay USD 100 if from SAARC countries and USD 200 if from non-SAARC countries.
