JEE Advanced 2025: IIT Kanpur will tentatively conduct JEE Advanced 2025 in May 2025. Qualifying for JEE Advanced 2025 is crucial for admission to IITs. Eligibility for this exam requires candidates to complete their 10+2 exams and meet the JEE Main 2025 cut off for the Advanced stage. This includes candidates who graduated high school in 2024 or will do so in 2025. However, those who took their class 12 (or equivalent) exams in 2023 or earlier are not eligible to participate in JEE Advanced 2025.

JEE Advanced 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Here are the notable JEE Advanced eligibility criteria candidates must meet to complete the registration process and attempt the exam:

  • JEE Main Performance: Candidates must pass JEE Main 2025 and achieve a rank among the top 25,000 in the B.E./B.Tech category.

  • Maximum Attempt Limit: Candidates can attempt JEE Advanced a maximum of two times in two consecutive years.

  • Age Limit: Candidates should be born on or after 1 October 2000. However, SC, ST, and PwD candidates have a five-year relaxation, making their birth date requirement on or after 1 October 1995.

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have appeared for their Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2024 or 2025, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects.

JEE Advanced Eligibility for NRI & OCI/PIO Card Holders

Candidates belonging to PIO/OCI or NRI category must meet the following eligibility requirements of JEE Advanced:

  • Foreign Nationals: Non-Indian citizens, excluding OCI/PIO candidates, will be treated as foreign nationals. These candidates are subject to a supernumerary cap of 10% of the total seats in each course.

  • JEE Main Requirement: Foreign nationals are not required to take JEE Main 2025 and can directly register for JEE Advanced 2025, provided they meet other eligibility criteria.

  • Reservation: GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PwD reservation categories do not apply to foreign nationals. Additionally, there are no separate female supernumerary seats or sub-categories within the foreign national supernumerary seats.

JEE Advanced 2025 Registration Process

Eligible candidates must take the following steps to complete the JEE Advanced 2025 registration process:

  • Visit the official JEE Advanced website. 

  • Search and click on the registration link.

  • Enter the required details such as JEE Main roll number, DOB, and personal information.

  • Click on the submit button.

  • Upon successful registration, candidates will be provided with a unique registration number. They must save this number for future reference.

  • Log in using your registration number and password.

  • Access and complete the application form by entering personal details, academic information, and preferred examination cities.

  • Upload scanned copies of recent photograph, signature, and other necessary documents in the specified format and size.

  • Pay the application fee online through the provided payment gateway.

  • After successful payment, print the confirmation page for further reference.

  • Review the filled application form and click on the submit button.

JEE Advanced 2025 Cut Off

IT Kanpur will release the JEE Advanced 2025 cut off after the announcement of the exam results.
