CBSE Class 10 Marking Scheme 2025: CBSE Class 10 Board Exams happen in February/March by the Central Board of Secondary Education. Every year, before the exams, CBSE shares the blueprint of Class 10, which guides students about the exam pattern and question paper design. Here, we provide the marking scheme for CBSE Class 10 in 2024-25, including chapter-wise weightage for all subjects.

For the academic year 2024-25, CBSE has revised the Class 10 exam format. Instead of two terms, they have returned to annual examinations. There will be no term-based division; the yearly exam will cover the entire curriculum for each subject.

CBSE 10th Exam Pattern 2024 Key Points

  • The question papers will have three types of questions: MCQs (40%), Competency-Based Questions (20%), and Subjective Questions (40%).

  • There will be only one board exam at the end of the academic session.

  • The syllabus is available online at cbseacademic.nic.in.

  • The final exams will cover the entire syllabus from the CBSE Curriculum 2024-25.

  • Although the full syllabus will be tested, there are modifications to the exam pattern for this academic year.
