NEET PG 2023 Registration

To participate in the NEET PG 2023 counseling procedure, candidates must first register on the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) website. New registrations need to be done before each round. Those who have previously enrolled for NEET PG counseling do not need to register again. The following are the steps to register for NEET PG 2023 counseling:

Step 1:Visit MCC's official website.

Step 2: Select 'PG Medical Counseling' from the drop-down menu.

Step 3: Create an account with a valid email address and phone number.

Step 4: Receive the login information.

Step 6: Fill in the application form with the necessary details and submit it.

Step 7: Pay the registration fee online as per the following details:

  • AIQ /Central University UR candidates: Rs. 1000/-

  • SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates: Rs. 500/-

  • Deemed University candidates: Rs. 5000/- 

NEET Choice Filling

After registration, candidates need to select the courses and colleges of their choice according to their preferences. They are advised to check their options and carefully make the final decision for college selection before submitting them because it will be locked after the deadline date. Candidates are advised to keep a copy of the options filled in for future use.

NEET Seat Distribution

After choice filling for colleges, the process of allocating seats will begin as per the following procedures:

  • Seats will be assigned depending on the choices indicated by applicants.

  • The availability of seats and the applicant's All India Rank will also be considered for seat allotment.

  • After seat allocation, MCC will issue the first round of counseling results, which will include the All India Rank, the institute allotted, the courses offered, and the category of candidates.

  • Candidates are given the option to accept or reject the seat allotment as per their preference.

Reporting to Specific NEET Colleges

This is the concluding phase of the NEET PG counselling process. Applicants who have accepted the seat distribution in their respective institutes will receive the allotment intimation. They must download the allotment letter and report to the designated institutes with the relevant documentation within the specified time frame.

List of Documents Needed for NEET PG 2024 Counseling

The Medical Counseling Committee verifies the candidates' documentation during the NEET PG counselling process before they are allowed to continue for further procedures. The candidate must bring the following documents to expedite the counselling process:

  • NEET PG Exam Admit Card

  • NEET Result or Rank Card

  • MBBS/BDS Degree Certificate

  • Internship Certificate

  • Marksheet of MBBS course

  • Birth Certificate/Higher Secondary Certificate/High School (as the proof of date of birth)

  • Identity Proof (Aadhar card/PAN card/Voter card/Passport)

Options Available after NEET PG 2023 Seat Allotment

Candidates can check the official portal to see whether they have been assigned a seat in the college of their choice in the required program. If they have been allotted a seat, the subsequent steps will follow as mentioned below.

  • Pay the non-refundable seat confirmation fee online.

  • Upload the necessary documents in the proper format.

  • After verifying the documents, the authority will release the provisional offer letters for admission.

  • Candidates can access the provisional offer letter from the official portal and download it.

  • The candidates must go through the instructions and follow the same as per the requirements of institutes.

NEET PG Seat Matrix

The NEET PG seat matrix represents the number of seats available for each speciality program. The seat matrix also specifies the availability of seats for a certain set of candidates.
