NEET Counselling 2024 New Changes
1. Considerations for 3rd Rounds of AIQ/Deemed/Central Universities: Think carefully before joining because there are no chances for counseling changes, and resignations are not allowed. If allotted a seat in AIQ or Deemed/Central Universities, your name is removed from the All India Stray Vacancy Round list.
2. Eligibility Updates for OCI Cardholders: OCI cardholders now have the same eligibility as Indian citizens for NEET UG 2024 counseling conducted by MCC.
3. NEET Counselling Round 2: Fresh registration is required for those who missed Round 1 or didn't get seats. Upgraded candidates can physically report to their allotted college and have the option to upgrade to Round 3.
4. Fresh Registration for NEET Counselling 2024 Round-3:Necessary for those who missed Round 1, Round 2, or resigned/not reported in earlier rounds.
5. Transition to Round 3: If upgraded to Round 3, the candidate must obtain relief from the Round 2 seat and join the Round 3 seat. No further upgrades or resignations are allowed. If allotted a seat in Round 3 but not joined, exit the NEET counseling with fee forfeiture and exclusion from other rounds.
6. Stray Round Guidelines: If allotted a seat in the Stray round, joining is mandatory. Failure to join results in being debarred from the NEET UG exam for the next year, along with fee forfeiture.
